What the work involvesAtlanta, GA is home to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the federal agency that developed and maintains STEADI (Stopping Elderly Accidents, Deaths & Injuries) -- confirmed via WebFetch to Wikipedia earlier this session -- and the 30-second chair-stand test this standard uses is itself a STEADI component. A genuinely separate reuse of Atlanta/CDC from this library's existing standing_balance tile (STEADI's 4-Stage Balance Test), systemic_inflammation tile (a CDC/AHA co-published risk-band statement), and sodium_potassium_balance tile (NHANES, a separate CDC survey program) -- and from this standard's own existing resistance_training_dose Atlanta tile, since that connects to a different standard entirely -- here the connection is STEADI's own 30-second chair-stand test.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Bring
- standard armless chair (~43-45 cm seat height) against a wall
- stopwatch
- recording sheet
Steps
- 1. Place the chair against a wall so it cannot slide; person sits, feet flat, arms crossed over chest.
- 2. 30-second version: count full stands (up to full extension, back to seated) completed in 30 s.
- 3. 5x version: time how long to complete 5 full sit-to-stands as fast as safely possible.
- 4. One practice rep to confirm safe technique before the timed trial.
- 5. Compare reps (or time) to the age/sex normative table.
- 6. Photograph the setup; log reps/time, percentile band, and any balance concern; sign it.
What counts as done
- 30-second full-stand rep count (or 5x sit-to-stand time) with wall-braced chair and arms crossed
- Result compared to the age/sex normative band
- Photo of the test setup and a practice-rep safety confirmation
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788498020054_53ymkjm","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
