What the work involves

The survey above found the zizotes milkweed (Asclepias oenotheroides) host stand at Mother Neff State Park sparse or absent ahead of the spring passage; without an established planting timed to be egg-ready before the first generation arrives, the only larval host plant monarchs can use stays missing from this stretch of the interior Texas spring flyway.

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Proof
park staff coordination confirm plus nursery-source confirm plus before after photos plus GPS

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Confirm with park staff that the survey above cleared this site for a staff-coordinated milkweed planting, and that the planting window lands well ahead of the spring passage so the stand has time to establish before the first generation arrives to lay eggs.
  2. 2. Source local-ecotype, nursery grown zizotes milkweed (Asclepias oenotheroides) plants or seed; never tropical milkweed (Asclepias curassavica) and never wild-collected material. Any milkweed or nectar plant material used in this job is sourced as nursery grown, local-ecotype stock or purchased seed, never collected from a wild stand; wild native seed collection is its own separate, permitted, provenance-tracked job and is not part of this planting work.
  3. 3. Wearing gloves, plant the milkweed at the staff-approved site and density, water in, and mulch around each plant, never rubbing eyes while handling the plants because milkweed sap is an irritant. Milkweed sap is a skin and eye irritant, and some species are toxic if ingested; wear gloves when handling milkweed plants or cuttings, never rub your eyes while working, wash hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling, and keep milkweed plant material out of reach of children.
  4. 4. Photograph the finished planting and record the species, planting date, and estimated readiness date relative to the next spring passage.

What counts as done

  • Park staff coordination confirmed and photographed
  • Confirmation that the milkweed or nectar plant material used was nursery grown, local-ecotype stock or purchased seed, never collected from a wild stand; and, where milkweed was handled, confirmation gloves were worn and hands were washed after handling.
  • Confirmation that no monarch or any butterfly was handled, netted, tagged, or collected at any point in this work; that no pesticide or herbicide was applied at any point; and that no precise location of a monarch roost tree or roosting cluster was recorded or published, with the record naming only the general public park vicinity.
  • Photo of the finished, watered in, mulched milkweed planting
  • GPS waypoint of the general planting vicinity

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788671360801_z06bt9a","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
