Steps

  1. 1. Measure standing height (cm) without shoes, heels together, looking straight ahead.
  2. 2. Measure waist circumference (cm) at the midpoint between the lowest rib and the iliac crest, at the end of a normal exhale, tape snug not compressing.
  3. 3. Take waist twice; if the two differ by >1 cm, take a third and average.
  4. 4. Compute WHtR = waist / height.
  5. 5. Compare to the 0.5 boundary (and 0.6 higher-risk boundary).
  6. 6. Photograph the tape position (with consent) and log height, waist, WHtR; sign it.

What counts as done
