- 2. Hand dig a shallow basin to the design depth at a low point that already collects park runoff, sized for Corsicana's slow draining Blackland clay soil.
- 3. Backfill with amended soil and plant native, water-tolerant Blackland Prairie species at the design spacing.
- 4. Mulch the basin and photograph the finished planting from the matching before vantage, recording species/count and basin depth.
