- 2. Hand clear sediment, leaves and brush from the outlet opening with a rake or shovel, working entirely from the ground surface outside the pipe.
- 3. Confirm the cleared outlet discharges onto stable ground or a vegetated area, never in a single channel aimed straight at the stream bank.
- 4. Photograph the cleared outlet from the matching vantage and log the debris volume removed.
