Steps
- 1. Confirm a revised mow schedule for the older section along the rear boundary with the cemetery authority and the mowing contractor before starting: the zone is skipped by the routine mower from spring through seed-set, while paths and any area within a few feet of a marker keep their normal mow.

- 4. Install one small, weatherproof sign at the zone explaining the deferred-mow zone in plain language, and photograph the finished, staked and signed boundary.
