All of it: the words, the place, the proof

A running toilet or a dripping faucet at this Jewett-area home sends hundreds of extra gallons a month into the septic tank, and eight loads of laundry crammed into one Saturday floods the drainfield with more water than it can absorb in a day. Both are ordinary fixes that cut the hydraulic load on a system sized only for the household's normal daily flow.

Fund it for $110. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$110 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Test each toilet for a silent leak (dye tablet or food coloring in the tank, checked after 10 minutes) and check faucets and showerheads for drips; photograph any leak found.
  2. 2. Repair or replace the flapper, fill valve, faucet washer, or showerhead causing the leak, using hand tools only.
  3. 3. Retest each repaired fixture to confirm the leak is gone, and photograph the fix.
  4. 4. With the resident, write a simple weekly laundry schedule that spreads loads across the week instead of running them back to back, and record it as part of the household's septic care record.

What counts as done

  • Written or recorded permission from the resident precedes any work at their home, and this work is only ever done on the resident's own property with the resident present or informed.
  • Before photo or result of the dye or drip test showing the leak
  • Repair record naming the part replaced or fixed
  • After photo or result of the retest showing no leak
  • Written weekly laundry-spacing schedule recorded with the resident
  • Confirmation that the septic tank, riser, and lid were never opened, entered, or touched at any point

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Watershed Health. A watershed is everything the land pours into a stream, and the stream keeps the record. The EPA's bioassessment method reads that record through the small creatures living in the gravel: mayflies and caddisflies mean clean water, only worms and midges mean trouble. Mastery looks like a person who can wade one riffle with a net and tell you how the whole valley is doing. That skill is built sample by sample. This packet is one of them: one site, one careful count, one entry in the long record of a stream.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1789308808603_g7ul0hy","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
