All of it: the words, the place, the proof
A silt fence that is undermined, overtopped, torn or never emptied is a decoration, not a control; it fails not at installation but at maintenance, and it fails exactly when a storm is testing it. Walking the whole line after every rain and fixing what the rain found is what keeps a properly buried fence actually working.
Fund it for $90. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
How this work is done
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- 1. Walk the full fence line after every rain event, checking each section against the last known-good photo.
- 2. Look for a section undermined by water cutting under the buried edge, a section overtopped or torn, and any place where trapped sediment has built up to more than half the fence's height.
- 3. Re-cut a fresh slot only a few inches deep and re-bury any undermined section's fabric edge, backfilling and tamping it firm again.
- 4. Clear built up sediment from behind the fence before it reaches half the fence's height, and replace any torn fabric section.
- 5. Log the date, the rain event, and the condition found at each section, and photograph any section repaired, before and after.
What counts as done
- Confirmation that the walk happened after a specific, named rain event
- Before and after photos of any section found undermined, overtopped, torn, or repaired
- Confirmation that trapped sediment was cleared before it reached half the fence's height anywhere along the line
- Log entry recorded with date, rain event, and condition found at each section
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
Green Stormwater Infrastructure. Green stormwater infrastructure is the city's way of handling rain the way a meadow does: rain gardens, planted swales, and permeable pavement that let a storm soak in instead of surging down a pipe. The EPA's inspection standard keeps these systems honest, because a neglected rain garden quietly stops working while still looking like a garden. Mastery is the inspector's eye: reading inlets, overflow, plants, and soil in a single practiced pass. This packet is one such inspection, one basin checked and one record filed, which is precisely how a thousand basins stay alive.
What is promised, and what is not
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1789311291602_hv1md8j","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: permit-required — Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
