- 2. When the pit nears the confirmed full line, arrange for the hardened solids to be broken out and hauled to a confirmed disposal or recycling point, and any remaining liquid pumped out to a confirmed method, never drained onto the ground.
- 3. Inspect the liner for tears or punctures once the pit is emptied.
- 4. Patch or replace the liner before the pit is used again.
- 5. Photograph the emptied, re-lined pit, and log the date and the disposal or pump destination confirmed.
