- 2. Apply the water only to ornamental, non-edible plantings (established shrubs, non-fruiting trees, ornamental beds), never to any vegetable, herb, or fruit-bearing plant.
- 3. Water at the base of the plant, not overhead, and confirm the container's level drops as intended, supporting the seasonal-empty schedule.
- 4. Photograph the watering and the plantings receiving it, and confirm in writing that no edible planting received this water.
